How Long Will Your Deposit Last? Understanding Wager Budget

Your theoretical wager budget is the total amount you can expect to wager from a given deposit before the house edge statistically runs your balance to zero. The math is simple: deposit ÷ (1 − RTP) = total wager volume. Knowing this number matters in two situations — planning sessions around a bonus wagering requirement, and choosing bet sizes that keep you in action for the session you want.

Enter your deposit amount and the game's RTP percentage. The calculator returns your total wager budget, the implied house edge, and estimated spin counts at three common bet sizes so you can see exactly how many spins you are buying at each stake level.

Example: $10,000 deposit on a 96% RTP slot. House edge: 4%. Wager budget: $250,000. At $1/spin that is 250,000 spins. At $5/spin, 50,000 spins. At $10/spin, 25,000 spins.

For bonus clearing, the wager budget tells you whether your deposit can survive the playthrough. If a bonus requires $200,000 in wagering and your $10,000 deposit at 96% RTP gives you exactly $250,000, you have a reasonable margin. At 95% RTP your budget shrinks to $200,000 — you are riding the exact line with no buffer for variance and may bust before clearing. Bumping to 97% RTP stretches the budget to $333,000, giving you a 67% cushion.

The other key insight: RTP differences compound dramatically. Moving from 95% to 97% RTP does not add 2% to your budget — it nearly doubles it, from $200,000 to $333,000 on the same $10,000 deposit. Always select the highest-RTP eligible game when grinding a wagering requirement.
